People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.
How to Run Your First Ultra Trail in 100.000 Easy Steps (part 1)
Running 100 kilometers (60 miles) in a day? Through alpine terrain with 5km vertical ascent? How is that even possible? In June I finished Zugspitz Ultratrail 100k in just under 15 hours after researching and training for this spectacular run for about four months. Before that my longest run was a marathon. Here is everything I learned and everything you need to know if you want to undertake a similar journey.

I love the balance this wording strikes between simplicity, symbolism and powerfulness.

Similar to renowned Scandinavian design the modern cuisine evolved tradition and simplicity into delightful sophistication and quality. You don’t have to go to NOMA to experience culinary finesse. On a recent trip to Copenhagen in June I enjoyed a number of wonderful coffee and food places that I want to share. Continue reading Craft Coffee in Copenhagen
